Happy new year to all! The Year of the Dog brings Philippine employers and employees two major changes to how payroll deductions get computed.

Here are the recent changes:

1. Philhealth Circular 2017-0024 in October 2017 announced a major change to PHIC contributions. It took effect the first day of 2018. (Click here for the full text.)

2. Even more recently - on 2018 January 04 - the BIR released guidelines implementing RA 10963, aka the TRAIN* law. It also took effect on the first day of 2018. (Click here for the full text of BIR RMC 1-2018.)

Updated SURE! PayMaster. Balmori Software wishes to inform our customers and friends that - since January 9th - we now have an update to SURE! PayMaster, with the version number 7.10.1b. This latest version of SURE! PayMaster addresses the payroll deduction changes triggered by both the Philhealth Circular 2017-0024 and the TRAIN law.

Both Versions 7.10.0 and 7.10.1b also incorporate the recent ergonomic improvements that make setting up and using SURE! PayMaster much easier than ever. Read about these ergonomic improvements here.
